Celebrating Physiotherapy at Curtin: Past, Present and Future

Thursday 23 November 2017 - 6.45 pm to 10.00 pm
Wesfarmers Court, Curtin University, Kent Street, Bentley
Current Staff, Current Students, Industry and community partners, Past students (Alumni)

The School of Physiotherapy (now the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science) is one of Curtin’s oldest schools. Initially established as the Western Australian School of Physiotherapy in the 1953, it joined the newly formed Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT) in 1969 as part of the Department of Therapies.

The School will celebrate this long and impactful history within Western Australia alongside alumni, staff and industry partners at a special event as part of Curtin’s 50 Years of Innovation celebrations.  The cocktail event, a celebration of Physiotherapy at Curtin – Past, Present and Future, will be an opportunity to rekindle friendships with former students and staff from the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science. It will also be the first opportunity to bring alumni of the School’s Exercise Sport and Rehabilitation Science course together.

Tickets will be going on sale later in the year, but in the meantime we need your help to get the word out to all our alumni. Sadly we don’t have everyone’s current contact details, so please forward this event to your friends and colleagues who graduated from WAIT or Curtin. We don’t want anyone to miss out!
