50 Years: Our Stories exhibition

August to December
John Curtin Gallery
Current Staff, Former staff, General community, Past students (Alumni)

While we can’t possibly compete with A History of the World in 100 Objects – an exhibition spanning two million years of human life from the Stone Age to the Space Age – we hope Curtin’s planned exploration of our past five decades of development will also generate some interest and excitement.

50 Years: Our Stories will be hosted from the start of August in the John Curtin Gallery on the Bentley campus, where it will be open to viewing by a wide audience.

Our initial display will include objects that showcase WAIT and Curtin’s innovative approach to technology, design, sport and architecture. The display will be refreshed with additional stories later in the year.

Ideas for objects and stories that can be explored through this exhibition are still being welcomed. Submissions can be made via the form below.

Curtin would like to thank UniSuper for their generous support in hosting 50 Years: Our Stories. In the below video, UniSuper CEO, Kevin O’Sullivan, talks about the importance of UniSuper’s long and successful partnership with Curtin and their support during Curtin’s 50 Years of Innovation celebrations.
