The four-storey building contains specially designed laboratory spaces that allow up to 80 researchers to work in a safe, contained environment on pathogens that pose a threat to Australian farming. It is also intended as a lynchpin within the Greater Curtin Master Plan for helping to activate the eastern side of the campus.
