Curtin gave me the strong foundations to start my business in the UK

In 1999, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the Curtin Business School (CBS). I went back to tutor and lecture in Business law at CBS, marked exam papers and created learning modules while studying for my 2nd degree in Law. At the time, it was just a job but some 15 years later and after being a commercial property solicitor for 8 years, my life has come full circle. In 2013, I quit my job, moved to the UK and started a company in the UK. I am the CEO of MadeWithGlove Ltd. It is a wearable technology company designing fashionable heated gloves. We also deliver workshops and masterclasses for students wishing to learn about wearable technology. In 2016, the UK Government granted me with an exceptional talent visa for my work in the digital and technology sector.

My business studies at Curtin as well as being a lecturer and tutor gave me the strong foundations to start my business in the UK.
