I am so lucky that here in Mauritius I got the chance to be part of the Curtin family!

I am graduating in 2017 with my BA Mass Communication degree, majors Marketing and Web Medias. My journey had been a long one and starting from a BCom degree ending up with my Bachelor of Arts degree is incredible. I chose Curtin because it’s internationally recognized and also just simply because I love AUSTRALIA! Here in Mauritius it is really difficult to get a good job but more importantly to get good job satisfaction. Australia is really amazing, one of my goals would be to have a career in Australia itself and build a good network there. I love challenges and doing a Curtin degree itself is very challenging. Digital Marketing became my passion, I have been working as an SEO Analyst and the knowledge I acquired from Curtin helped me to perform well at my last job. Hoping to have a wonderful career in Australia or in any part of the world.

I am so excited to finally graduate from Curtin but it’s a mixed feeling. After graduation, life becomes really challenging like to decide which career suits you the best. One of my major goals would be to have a career in the digital marketing field. Here in Mauritius, it has just started but when I see the opportunities it is so weak compared to most of the European countries. Learning is a never ending process and we keep on learning. Having a degree itself is not enough, we need to level up constantly. What scares me is the future after graduation, will my passion be the same or will I just go with the flow? Never giving up is my motto. Let’s see now what the future holds!
