I’ve been to Cambodia to do volunteer work as part of Reach Out Volunteers. To me, it was a major achievement to go overseas by myself and do something to improve the lives of people that are much worse off than us. We built a classroom in a week, taught a little bit of English, got to play with the kids and then spent a week in the jungle rehabilitating elephants.
